Who We Are
We are Shizen. “What does that mean?”. It comes directly from the Japanese language in which it means “Nature”. At Shizen, we are passionate on protecting this Earth for what it’s made for, to sustain living and breathing organisms. As high school students in India, we might not be able to make much progress from the beginning, but it’s our drive and perseverance that will help us ultimately reach our goal; a secure, safer and sustainable society for our future.
What We Do
At Shizen, we are trying to promote sustainability in our local community by organising workshops, fundraiser/awareness events, lake and area cleanups, etc. By doing all of this, we hope to create better living standards, not only for us, but for the generations to come. We currently have a website and an instagram page where we post about our progress, articles and initiatives. Soon, we will also include snapshots from our various events for our audience and supporters to view and enjoy.
